Meet Our Doctors and Staff

Dr. Livermore

Dr. Livermore I was brought up in rural northwest Iowa. After graduating from Veterinary school at Iowa State University in 1978, I moved to sunny Phoenix. I have worked at Roadrunner Animal Hospital since March of 1994. I enjoy working with a great staff that has a passion to give quality medical care. My wonderful wife and I have been married since 1987. We have two boys, Riley and Austin, a beautiful daughter Courtney, and an incredible dog Annie. My extra time is filled with family activities, community service at Habitat for Humanity, travel, bicycling and serving at our church, Pure Heart Christian Fellowship.

Dr. Beestman

Dr. Beestman I was raised in a small town in central Wisconsin. I always had a love for animals so decided to pursue an undergraduate degree in zoology and ultimately went on to become a doctor of veterinary medicine. I graduated with my DVM from the University of Wisconsin in 2007. I have been practicing as a small animal veterinarian in Arizona since then but am new to the team at Roadrunner. I believe our pets enrich our lives and I strive to provide high quality, compassionate care for pets and their families. I have a few pets of my own—2 dogs, a cat and a cockatiel at the moment. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors—hiking, camping, traveling and exploring.

Lisa - Manager

Lisa I was born and raised in California and moved to Arizona with my husband Steve in 2005.We have a silly four year old daughter named Promise, she makes me laugh everyday and always keep us on our toes. I have two small rescued dogs both mutts named Poncho and Peanut.

I have been part of the team here at Roadrunner for about three years now and I enjoy coming to this clinic every day. I am blessed that I can be around fun, positive people and still make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. I have been attending night classes at Kaplan College and am almost finished. Yeah!!! My goal is to graduate pass the CVT test and become a Certified Veterinary Technician. In my spare time, Oh what spare time? When I’m not at school or work, I enjoy barbequing with family and friends, camping and watching movies with my daughter.

Amanda - Vet Assistant

Amanda Hi there! My name is Amanda, I'm a vet assistant and I love what I do. Working with animals has always been a passion of mine. Being able to help save a pets life or welcome a new one into the world, is an amazing feeling. When I’m not hard at work at Roadrunner, I’m spending time with my black lab named Luke, my tuxedo-like kitty named Frankie, and my awesome boyfriend. We like to sit at home, watch movies and eat just about what ever we can create. When we are not being couch potatoes, you can find us on the closest dirt bike track enjoying the race. Most of my free time involves my family and pets, however when I get the chance to kick back by myself I enjoy reading, being creative and to be honest, sleeping. Nothing is more rewarding then a good nap after a hard day of work. The future holds a great deal of amazing new adventures for me and I plan to keep my career wrapped around the animal kingdom in some fashion.
